Director of Youth Boys, Neil Midgley announced earlier this season the acquisition of Shaun Harrington to his team as Head of Coaching and will be introducing an u12s colts’ team to the club, along with former City player Lee Pacey managing the new u13s EJA side for season 2023-2024.
Further changes to the boys’ teams for 2023-2024 season, we will continue to have an U18s in the Thurlow Nunn League, but there will be no U18s side playing in the Eastern Junior Alliance League as we sadly say goodbye to the management team; Wayne Bates, Trevor Bennett, Steve Bradshaw and Scott Talbot.
We would like to thank these guys and their players and parents for their efforts and commitments over the last 5 years. Wayne has been Secretary for the boys over the last 5 years and has been a great asset to the club, whilst being homeless there has been a lot of organisation and planning around who would be playing where and Wayne has done a brilliant job at this. We would like to wish Wayne and his team all the best as they move on!
