WALKCITY26
Following on from supporters Neil Harvey & John Aves' successful triathlon last year, this year they are walking nearly 26 miles and they would love for you to join them!
WALKCITY26 runs from Tuesday 26th May 2026 to Sunday 26th July 2026.
This walk will take this route, with more details provided after sign up:
St Ives Town FC

Milton Road
Lilywhite Drive (City's home until 2013)
Victoria Avenue
Parker's Piece football sculpture
The Salisbury Arms
Cambridge Railway Station
Trumpington
Great Shelford
Stapleford
Sawston
FWD-IP Community Stadium, West Way.
You can do the route in one go, or split it into smaller stages, the choice is up to you. Alternatively you can complete some or all of the challenge on a treadmill.
There will also be group events scheduled for:-
Tuesday 26th May - Join Neil & John when they will be walking from St Ives to The Salisbury Arms - roughly 17 miles
Sunday 14th June - Join Neil when he will be walking from The Salisbury Arms to Sawston - roughly 8 miles
Saturday 20th June - Join John when he will be walking from The Salisbury Arms to Sawston then enjoying the beer festival and live music as part of CITYFEST 2026 | CCFC
Sunday 26th July - Join Neil, John & Alice and many more when they will be walking from Lilywhites Drive to Sawston.

Entry costs £26 and includes a special WALKCITY26 T-shirt to mark the event, and then we encourage you to help raise sponsorship and collect donations via our go fund me page, or set up your own page from there.
All money raised from the walk will go towards funding a brand new fully interactive scoreboard that will be installed at the FWD-IP Community Stadium.
