Katie is a Lilywhite!

Central Midfielder Katie Walker joins us from Newmarket Town having also played at Norwich City and been part of the AFC Sudbury academy.

Katie is delighted to be signing for the Lilywhites: “I’m really excited to be joining Cambridge City. Since the first training session I’ve felt really welcomed by the staff and players. I’ve known Kev for a few years and from our first conversation about Cambridge City I’ve felt very excited about his plans for the club and what the future holds. I can’t wait to get started.”

Manager Kevin Parsons is in no doubt about Katie’s abilities: “Katie is an excellent player for this level; she has great vision and can execute those killer passes. I’ve seen her dictate many a game in the middle. She’s also someone who gets in and around the box and knows where the back of the net is, having scored some important goals too. Adding her to the side is a great coup for us.”
