We would like to say a massive thank you to all our coaching staff and players from the 2023/24 season. Inevitably a new manager coming in requires a complete overhaul of the coaching staff under the new management team. This transition will see the departure of several key figures who have been integral to the club's efforts over many seasons.
Robbie's exit was previously announced, but it is now confirmed that Neil Midgley, Ben Farmer, Dave Theobold, John Kennedy, and goalkeeping coach 'Minty' will also no longer be part of the 1st team's coaching staff.
The club extends its heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to these individuals for their future endeavors. The dedication and professionalism shown by the backroom staff last season were invaluable, and their efforts, often unnoticed, were deeply appreciated. They gave 100% in a challenging campaign, and their commitment did not go unnoticed.
And of course, there will be departures from the playing staff this season. We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who contributed to the team last year and to those who have been with the club for many years and will be moving on to new pastures. Despite a difficult season, we were delighted to win the Cambs Invitation Cup convincingly to put some smiles on faces. Best of luck to anyone who is moving on and we are sure we'll see you again sometime soon.
Despite stepping down from the coaching staff, Neil Midgley will remain with the club, continuing his role as Director of Youth Development.
Tia McCrindle will also remain as our 1st team physio.
Thank you all!
