City Youngster joins Tractor Boys

Under 16 City Shot Stopper, Josh Smith has been a goalkeeper within the City youth set-up since the age of 12 and has been with us for just over 3 full seasons.

Josh was recently invited to trial with the Ipswich academy at the end of last season and was then also invited back to pre-season in July.

During this time he has had the chance to play against a number of Premier League academy teams and we are delighted to announce that he has now been offered a chance to join the full academy, as an U16 Goalkeeper.

We would like to wish Josh & his family all the very best with this amazing opportunity and we look forward to hearing how his journey continues over the next few years.
