THEY'VE ARRIVED!!!!
Some of you may remember a little crowdfunder that we recently ran in order to buy changing rooms for the 3G pitch. The Changing rooms are vital for providing a safe and at the moment more importantly warm, place for all our teams to change when using the 3G facilities.
They arrived this week having been delivered from Hull by our friends at Relocatable Building
Systems.
What started as a conversation with Crowdfunder about 9 months ago, has materialised into a fantastic facility for our new stadium.
We cannot thank everyone one of you that donated, provided a reward or shared the project and a huge Thank you to Sport England who funded 25% of the total.
The changing rooms have been positioned inside the stadium for now as they form part of our bid to get the stadium open early, subject to FA approval. However they are very accessible via the gate between the stadium and the 3G.
In time, when the stadium internal fit out is completed, the changing rooms will be relocated closer to the 3G.
We continue to press on with completing as much of the stadium as we need to to get open for NPL football. As mentioned we are relying on a final piece of work to get electricity to the site and also that all important approval from the FA to go ahead. As soon as we have an update on that, you'll be the first to know.
In the meantime, A massive Thank You for your generosity and patience, every little step forward goes towards getting the stadium open.
