ree

Cambridge City Football Club is proud to announce that an upcoming home fixture on

Saturday 11th October vs Felixstowe & Walton will also be a celebration of health, happiness and community spirit, as we host our very first Wellbeing Day at the FWD-IP Community Stadium.

The initiative aims to bring together supporters, families, and local residents to highlight the importance of physical and mental wellbeing, while enjoying a great afternoon of football. This will be in partnership with local organisations including South Cambs & Royston Integrated Neighbour Development Team.

On the day, fans will be able to enjoy:

  • Wellbeing stalls and activities from local organisations, charities, and health providers

  • Advice and support around mental health, nutrition, and physical fitness

  • Opportunities to connect with community groups and local businesses

Cambridge City FC General Manager Alice Dewey said:

'Football has always been about more than just what happens on the pitch. We're delighted to use a matchday to shine a light on wellbeing, supporting our community and showing that together we can make a real difference. We'd love to see as many people as possible come down, get involved  and enjoy the day.'

The Wellbeing Day is part of Cambridge City FC’s wider commitment to supporting the local community, strengthening partnerships with health and wellbeing providers, and ensuring that the club plays a positive role both on and off the pitch.

Gates open at 1pm with activities running throughout the afternoon.
