Cambridge City FC thank Marketing Placement Student, Ben Saich

Cambridge City Football Club extended a heartfelt thanks at Tuesday’s pre-season friendly to Ben Saich, who recently completed a successful year's placement with the Club as part of his BSc Marketing Degree at Aston University.

Ben has made a valuable contribution during his time at the Club, supporting a wide range of activities including sponsorship outreach, content creation, event planning, and digital marketing and matchday photos. Ben followed the team home and away last season, developing his photography and interview skills. His enthusiasm and professionalism have had a real impact, helping elevate the Club’s profile both online and in the local community.

General Manager Alice Dewey, said:

“Ben quickly became a trusted and proactive member of our off-field team. His drive and ability to take on responsibility made a real difference, and he’ll always be welcome back at the Club. It has been lovely to see how involved Ben and his Dad have become and we've introduced them to the fabulous non-league way.”

Ben shared:

'I've thoroughly enjoyed working at Cambridge City during my placement year. It's been a very rewarding experience which has helped me develop real-world skills in Marketing, Matchday Photography, and Social Media.

'A big thanks to everyone at the club - especially Alice and Sean - who've supported me and helped me grow! While I’m sad to be leaving, I’d love to return should the opportunity arise, and of course I’ll always be a fan. Up the Lilywhites.'
