Cambridge City FC Announces New Partnership to Help Local Residents Save on Utility Bills

Updated: Aug 14

Cambridge City Football Club is excited to unveil a new partnership with a Which? recommended company aimed at helping local residents cut the cost of their household bills.

Through the Utility Warehouse Connectors initiative, the club is offering the community a

ree

chance to save money on utilities such as gas, electricity, broadband, mobile services and insurances.  Described as a “fantastic opportunity” for the Cambridge City community, the scheme allows anyone to request a free, no-obligation quote for their household bills.

Also UW are offering 6 months free broadband in certain postcodes in Cambridge and surrounding towns. Why not see if you qualify?

Those who choose to switch to Utility Warehouse will not only benefit from potential savings but will also be supporting the club directly. For every household that signs up, Cambridge City FC will receive between £50 and £150. All proceeds will go toward supporting the Club — funding new equipment, kits, training sessions, and club events.

General Manager Alice Dewey said:

“We’re always looking for ways to bring extra value to our supporters both on and off the pitch. This partnership with Utility Warehouse is a great opportunity for fans to save money on essentials, while knowing they’re also directly supporting the club’s future.”

Supporters will be able to find out more by going to http://connectors.uw.co.uk/CN-LSGZ, or contact Alison on alison.curtis1@yahoo.co.uk

This will include how to arrange a free no-obligation review with Alison our Utility Warehouse representative.

By joining the scheme, fans can enjoy:

  • Exclusive savings on energy, broadband, mobile, and insurance

  • A single, easy-to-manage monthly bill

  • The satisfaction of knowing part of their spend goes back to Cambridge City FC

Alison Curtis, UW Partner said:

‘I’m delighted to announce this collaboration, as it's a fantastic opportunity for fans to save money on their essential services while directly supporting the club’s future — funding new equipment, kits, training sessions, and club events. Plus, it helps local residents cut the cost of their household bills too. It’s a real win-win!

I’ve proudly been a partner for over 11 years, and I genuinely love helping people save both time and money on their household bills.

I offer a free, no-obligation chat — either over the phone or face-to-face with a cuppa. I’m flexible with times, offering both daytime and evening appointments to suit you best.

If nothing else, it’s a great chance for a quick “Bill MOT” to make sure you’re not paying more than you need to.

Please do get in touch — I’d love to help!’

This initiative marks another step in the club’s commitment to giving back to the community while ensuring the continued growth and success of Cambridge City FC.

Offering free quotes, potential savings on essentials like gas, electricity, broadband, mobile, and insurance—and even 6 months of free broadband in select areas—is a fantastic gesture.
