A Golfing Success!

Last Friday, saw our first Golf Day of 2024, this year we decided to attend the fabulous

Cambridge Country Club. We were overwhelmed during promotion of the day as we received 24 teams sign up along with a waiting list.

During the week the weather hadn't been great, but on Friday morning we woke up to a beautiful sunny crisp day. We would like to thank all 96 players for joining us and it has been great to hear some fabulous feedback.

'A thoroughly enjoyable day, very well organised, lots raised for a fantastic cause.'

Whilst out on the course, golfers could take part in Nearest the Pin x 3, Longest Drive and Beat the Pro. Josh was our pro for the day, who plays off +3 at the Gogs Golf Club and out of the 96 players was only beaten by 12. Thank you Josh for sticking to hole 1 for the entire day and taking on the challenge.

We would also like to thank the Cambridge Country Club - Sarah, Aaron and Ruth, helping to make such an enjoyable day and delicious food! And to Jezo as our fantastic compere for the afternoon and encouraging involvement in Heads & Tails competition and auction. After a final count up, we are pleased to share we raised over £4700, which is a amazing amount!

Lastly a thank you to our sponsors and donors towards the auction and raffle:-

Fans of platform and runner games will love Run 3 because of its fun gravity mechanics and engaging challenges.

When you enter the world of "Granny", a sense of thrill immediately envelops you. Every small sound can make you feel anxious, as Granny can hear every noise.

Is Wacky Steps relaxing or difficult? Both, in a weird way. The art and concept are light and funny, but the actual walking mechanic is demanding

It sounds like the Golf Day at Cambridge Country Club was a huge success! Organizing 24 teams and a waiting list reminds me of Crossy Road, where careful planning and timing make the experience smooth and enjoyable
