New Cambridge City website and Fanbase app launch

We’re delighted to confirm that the new City website has now officially launched. Created by our Marketing partner, Postscript, the site offers a fresh new look, enhanced usability and new features such as a match gallery. It also includes many of the content areas from the old website, including the match centre, team statistics and information, and match highlights embedded from YouTube. The site includes information about the main stand facilities and will help us generate revenue for the Club across the board.

Speaking after the website launch, Cambridge City CEO, Alice Dewey, said: “We’re really pleased to have a new website, which will help us promote the club and our facilities, improve fan engagement and present the Club in a really professional manner. We’re very grateful to Philip and the Postscript team for designing and building the website at no charge, as it was a huge task to co-ordinate all aspects of the Club and arrive at the solution that we have.”

For Head of Media and Communications, and Postscript owner, Philip Saich, the launch of the website is a real milestone for the Club. ‘Ever since we’ve been involved with Cambridge City we’ve been targeting a new website to promote the Club, and we’re proud to have brought this to fruition. Not only is it more professional, it’s also designed to grow with the Club, and from a technical perspective it's very sophisticated and ranks highly amongst the very best in non-league football.”

In terms of Fanbase, this is also a big step forward for the Club as it consolidates ticket and event sales with the aim of growing fan engagement across every age group, as Alice Dewey confirms. “When a member of our Media team, Megan Higgins, came to me with Fanbase it was a no-brainer, and we’re indebted to Megan for taking the lead, liaising with the Fanbase team and integrating it with our new website. We’re at the start of a very exciting journey with Fanbase, and Megan will be using it to spearhead the growth in our fan engagement. We recommend that supporters download the Fanbase app to get the most from it as we’ll be developing our presence in the coming months.”
