Cherryhinton 3 City Reserves 1
Apr 15, 2017, 18:08
In spite if hitting the bar in the 1st minute and dominating the game for the first 25 minutes the Reserves found themselves 2 goals down by halftime. The second half saw them create the chances, but go 3 goals down before, in the 83rd minute, Kennedy Ahenkoray put the ball in the net to make it 3 -1.

Vital win secured by single goal

Cambridge City 1 Dorchester Town 0
It may have been another narrow win, but it was vital that City took three points from this game, and in truth they should have won by a much wider margin as they kept Dorchester at arms length all afternoon. All the chances were City's and they should have been clear by the break, but only had a single goal to show for their efforts. Dorchester enjoyed far more of the ball in the second half, but didn't lay a glove on City as they maintained a great shape to deny them any opportunities...

Fowlmere 3 City Reserves 1
Apr 11, 2017, 22:17
A somnolent approach in a physical encounter saw the Reserves 2 goals down after 15 minutes. An improvement in the 2nd half saw Franck Mvogo score his first goal for the club, but the 90th minute saw Fowlmere score again as the Reserves were pressing for the equaliser.

Wabo strike seals vital points

Cinderford Town 0 Cambridge City 1
The winning margin may have been small, but City did exactly what they needed to do by claiming maximum points from this encounter. The win moves them up to fourth bottom on 40 points, separated from the team above them by only goal difference. There was also an air of justice as City were denied a win at Cinderford earlier in the season, when the game was abandoned late on with the visitors leading....

Lakenheath 3 City Reserves 0
Apr 8, 2017, 17:59
In spite of dominating the first half the Reserves were unlucky to be a goal down at the break. The 2nd half saw them continue to play the best football, but a couple of defensive errors sealed the result.
The Reserves next game is 6.15pm Tuesday 11th April at the Eternit Sports Ground, Meldreth, when Fowlmere are the opponents.

Fine result keeps escape alive

Cirencester Town 0 Cambridge City 3
With Hayes losing last night, City's game at Cirencester took on added significance, a win for City could put them fully back in charge of their own destiny, three points potentially leaving them within touching distance of safety with a game in hand. It didn't quite work out that way with Kings Langley grabbing a point at Leamington, but the win put City right back in with a great chance of escaping relegation....

Ladies and Girls weekly round up (26)
Apr 4, 2017, 11:00
What a weekend! It's hard to keep the Ladies out of the headlines, not to mention the Development side also securing the league title at their first attempt. Add to this the under 10s putting in a tremendous amount of effort to come from behind to win a very entertaining game against Coton. There's a lot of proud City Ladies and Girls about at the moment. ... read more
