City produced a first class second half display to sweep aside today’s opposition and take maximum points from the first of three games against promotion rivals. Following a tight first half City held a narrow one goal lead, courtesy of Jordan Williams, but when James Hall doubled the lead a minute after the break, there was no holding the Lilywhites who went on to dominate and should have won by at least double the final margin. Although the visitors pulled a goal back, the response was instant, Ryan Towner restoring the two goal advantage, and when Hall beat the offside trap to score the fourth, there was only going to be one winner...
