Trust News
The nomination process for elections to the board of Cambridge City Supporters Trust has now been completed, and the Election Management Group can now reveal the make-up of the new board, which will serve a term of two years in office.
In total, there have been 5 nominations received. They are:
Derek Bailham Pete Ball Sid Cullum Keith Harris Sam Tudor
With 7 spaces available, and only 5 names nominated it means that there is no need for a ballot, but should the new board deem it necessary, they can co-opt two other members onto the board at the Annual General Meeting on Thursday 7 May 2009 or at a later date.
Commenting on the elections, outgoing Chairman Andrew Dunn said:
"I’m delighted that we have received nominations to form a new Trust Board. Each of those who have been nominated have a number of skills and attributes that I believe will take the Trust forward, and build on the platform that has been laid by the outgoing board.
"It is now important for each and every single City fan to unite behind the new Trust board and give them their full support as they set the agenda for the next two years. I would also like to express my sincere thanks to our independent Returning Officer, Terry Wilby from Cambridge Fans United for his help and assistance during the nomination process."
An agenda for the Annual General Meeting will be received by all paid-up members for the current year within the next 10 days.
