Cambridge City boss Robbie Nightingale continues to shape the squad for the new campaign by agreeing terms with James Peters.

James is a midfielder who will join City from Bedford Town. He first joined the Eagles in the summer of 2015 and then moved to St Neots Town. However, he rejoined Bedford last October and went onto make 22 appearances for an Eagles side that made it to the play-offs.

Nightingale said "James is another great addition as we prepare for the new season. He has plenty of experience and is an established player in the southern league. I have no doubt that he will be a success for us".
