At the Supporters Trust AGM in January, Ken Anderson announced he would be standing down as chairman after 5 years service as he felt it was time to give someone else the opportunity and his role on the Club Board was keeping him busy.
The rest of the board would like to thank Ken for his service as Chairman and for being our representative on the Club Board, it is a vital role as the Trust and Club work together along with the Trust supporting the club financially.
Since Ken took the decision to step down, the Trust Board have been discussing at meetings as to who might like to take on this role and Steve Plumb has been decided as the right person for the role. The Trust would like to also thank Steve for agreeing to take on the role as well as be the representative on the Club Board.
Our new chairman said 'Firstly thank you to Ken for being chairman for the last 5 years and to the trust board for having faith in me at this exciting time in our push towards Sawston. The next few years will be busy and I look forward to working with the club and the supporters to build our new home. In the next few months we will be engaging with the people of Sawston at their fun run and school fetes this will be the start of becoming part of the community, Cheers Plumby.'
Thank you to everyone for their continued support.
