City Girl gets England call up
Talented Cambridge City Girls F.C. striker, Issy Bryant, has been called up by the national under 15 squad for their forthcoming away match against Switzerland. Issy, who plays up a year at City, will join her team mates on 11th February, in readiness for the game later in the week. This is deserved recognition for Issy, who is now in her second season with the club, having joined from Bar Hill. Although the club have previously had players who went on to gain international caps at other clubs, this is the first time that a current City player has been called up to represent their country. Gemma Clare, Issy's under 16s manager, was full of praise for the young footballer, adding "Issy fully deserves this opportunity. She is extremely focussed on her football and is a great girl to coach. She has the ability to just glide past players with ease and her finishing is second to none. I am confident that she will do extremely well on the international stage"
Everyone at Cambridge City Ladies and Girls F.C. congratulates Issy on her England call up and wishes her every success
