Cambridge City head to Yaxley tomorrow as they look for their first win since Boxing Day.

It was a frustrating afternoon for the Lilywhites last Saturday as they were held to a 0-0 draw at home to Barton Rovers. Despite having much of the play, City struggled to find the cutting edge to force the all important victory.

Tomorrow they visit a Yaxley side who like City are looking for their first league win since the festive period. That was back on 22 December when they overcame Dunstable Town. That win was part of four victories during December which gave them a boost in the points column after going through October and November with just one win, and that was at Didcot Town. During that period, City secured victory in the reverse fixture. The Lilywhites recording an emphatic 6-2 victory with Josh Oyinsan getting a hat-trick.

Oyinsan is scheduled to be in the squad tomorrow despite being subject to a 7 day approach from Lewes. Elsewhere, Ross Paterson looks set to continue at right back after slotting in to that position following the recent departure of Ben Robinson.

Yaxley: Last Six

01/01/19: Yaxley 0 Corby 4
26/12/18: Peterborough Sports 3 Yaxley 0
22/12/18: Yaxley 2 Dunstable Town 0
15/12/18: Yaxley 6 North Leigh 2
11/12/18: Yaxley 4 Welwyn Garden City 3

Katie Perring:

"With our confidence building, and after a good game last Saturday I believe we are in for a great game at Yaxley. The players look like they are gelling nicely and I am going for a City win. Letís all get behind Robbie and his staff to see if they can pull off a much needed victory."

Harvey Dunn:

"It was a frustrating result last weekend and on chances we should have won the game. Yaxley have had some good results this season, and they are holding their own during their first season at this level. They have an artificial surface, which I think will work in their favour. It all depends on us taking our chances. If we donít then I can see us slipping to a narrow 1-0 defeat".

Stephen Harper-Scott:

"I am more confident ahead of this fixture. It wonít be easy, but I am going for the opposite of what Harvey thinks, so itís City 1-0 for me".
