Transfer request for Sharman withdrawn

Cambridge City Football Club can confirm that Ryan Sharman has withdrawn his request to be transferred.

The leading goalscorer from last season was initially placed on the transfer list on Friday at his own request. However, he has now decided to remain at the club.

City manager Robbie Nightingale said "I am really pleased that Ryan has decided his future lies with us. He's been such an influential player since he joined us from Soham scoring an incredible amount of goals from midfield. We look forward to having Ryan in our team as we seek to improve during the second half of the season".
