Cambridge City Diversity Statement


Cambridge City Football Club welcomes diversity. We recognise value and respect the different needs and contributions of our communities, employees and supporters.

We welcome diversity because it enables us to appreciate the different contributions that all sections of our communities can make and are sensitive to individual needs.

Cambridge City will always when recruiting players and staff look to secure a workforce that fully reflects the make-up of its community, supporter base and will always select staff on a fair and non-discriminatory basis.

Cambridge City is fully committed to managing and developing our staff in a way which values everyone’s efforts and different contributions.

Every person has a fundamental right to be treated with respect and dignity in their dealings with Cambridge City Football Club.


CAMBRIDGE CITY AGAINST RACISM


Cambridge City Football Club operates a zero-tolerance policy against any incidents of anti-social or racist behaviour.

We urge anybody who witnesses such behaviour at the football club to report it to a steward or club official immediately.

Fans Code of Conduct


Cambridge City Football Club is open to all and has a proud history dating back to 1908. We welcome anyone regardless of age, gender,nationality,ethnic origin,

sexual orientation, religion or disability.

The club is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for home and away supporter of all ages.

Each supporter has the right to enjoy the football experience free from disruptive behaviour.

Cambridge City Football Club expects supporters to:

. Show respect for our opponents, their fans, match officials and stewards, our own staff and officials.
. Not enter the stadium either under the influence or in possession of alcohol or drugs.
. Not to engage in anti-social behaviour, including foul, offensive, insulting, abusive and racist language, use obscene gestures, fighting, throwing objects or causing distress to other supporters.
. Not enter the stadium with any kind of pyrotechnics or musical instrument(s)
. Not enter the field of play.
. Smoke in the designated smoking areas stated in the match day programme and announced via the public address system at each home game.
. Comply with requests from Club personnel regarding stadium operations and emergency evacuation procedures.
. Be responsible for reporting inappropriate behaviour to a representative of the Club or a match day steward.

Match Day stewards have been trained to intervene where necessary to help ensure that the above expectations are met. Any fans that choose not to adhere to the fans code of conduct or behave in an inappropriate manner bringing the Club into disrepute may be ejected from the stadium which could lead to potential further disciplinary action that will be issued at the discretion of the club Chairman and board of directors.

Together we must feel that everyone feels welcome when they visit us.
