Towner and Gooch depart

Ryan Towner and Liam Gooch have been released from the Cambridge City squad.

Midfielder Towner was in his second season with City and has made 9 league appearances this season, but was an ever present in the previous campaign.

Liam Gooch has been first choice goalkeeper since the start of the season. However, he lost his place to new signing Jamie Head on Saturday. He has now decided to take a break from football and has been released from the squad.

The club would like to thank both players for their efforts whilst at Cambridge City and wish them well for the future.
