A host of new faces in the City side failed to bring an end to City's awful form as they slumped to their 6th defeat in their last seven outings, the last three coming without scoring. City barely laid a glove on Sutton all afternoon and gifted the lead to the visitors after only seventeen minutes when a weak headed pass to the keeper was intercepted and slotted home. City huffed and puffed and when Sutton netted their second on 53 minutes it looked all but over. City did rally but could not breach a well marshalled Sutton back-line... Report
