Cambridge City Ladies have secured a place in the next round of the SSE Women's FA Cup with a stunning 2-1 win over neighbours Cambridge United Women.

City Ladies came from a goal down to win the contest in extra time amid wild celebrations at Trinity Old Field.

City Vice-Chairman Terry Dunn spoke on behalf of the club to offer his congratulations. He said "This is a stunning result by the City Ladies. There was a lot of interest in the tie and I know many of our own supporters attended. I extend my congratulations to everyone in the Ladies set-up on what is a fine day for them and everyone at the club".
