Needham Market friendly cancelled

Due to a number of players being either injured or unavailable, Cambridge City has cancelled the scheduled pre-season friendly at Needham Market this Saturday.

Whilst the decision is disappointing, the club had no alternative and hopes that it will now allow Needham Market time to potentially re-arrange an alternative competitive fixture as part of their pre-season programme.

Meanwhile, midfielder Isaac Maynard who was a fringe first team player last year has agreed terms for the forthcoming season.

Also agreeing terms is Nathan Olukanmi. Nathan had agreed to join Stratford earlier in pre-season but has now reversed that decision and will once again be with the Lilywhites for the new campaign.
