The Club congratulates Ladies midfielder Stacey Fullicks, who this week scooped the award for the newest referee in Cambs FA (Colts) with the highest average mark. Hubby Richard is also a familiar face on the refereeing circuit. Don't be afraid to give him some advice Stacey, whether he asks for it or not!

Well Done Stacey

Under 12s

Having won the Eastern Region qualifying heat last week, City under 12s made their way to Birmingham on Saturday for the FA Youth National Futsal Finals. Hopes were high for this talented bunch of girls. They got off to a good start, beating Swindon 2-1 in the first match. A 2-2 draw against Carlisle in the next match was enough to see them through to the semi finals where they met Alexandra Park, from Haringey. City were on top throughout the match but couldn't quite find the back of the net. A dubious penalty decision went against the Lilywhites in the last couple of minutes. This spelt the end of the journey for City. To be honest though, it's unlikely that they would have found any room in their trophy cabinet for any more pieces of silverware. To come third in a national competition is fantastic girls - don't lose sight of that!

There's nothing slow in Futsal

Under 8s and Under 9s

The under 8s and under 9s were also in action on Saturday afternoon. The older girls made their way to the Haddenham tournament where they excelled, playing some very impressive football. The goals just kept coming and the defence made sure that none sneaked through at the other end either.

Happy Haddenham Faces

The younger under 8s made the slightly longer trip to play in the Woburn tournament. This was the first time that some of the girls had played together, but you'd never have thought so. They put together some lovely passing moves and quickly learned how to celebrate scoring. The flicks, tricks, sun and smiles made for a perfect afternoon.

Ready to get started

On the attack again

Good Luck

And finally.........good luck to the under 14s and the under 12s this coming Sunday when they head off to Nottingham for the National Aces Tournament. This prestigious opportunity came their way having won their respective County League and Cup doubles. We know you can do it!
