City Girls To Proudly Host Arsenal Soccer School

The Club are pleased to announce that we have been chosen to host a two day Arsenal Soccer School for 7-14 year olds girls on Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th August 2018.

Come and have fun, make new friends and learn a few Arsenal tricks!

The event, operating between 10am and 3pm each day, will take place at the excellent facilities of Trinity College Sports Ground, Grange Road, Cambridge, CB3 9AA.

The sessions will be split into age related groups:
a) 7, 8 and 9 year olds.
b) 10 and 11 year olds.
c) 12, 13 and 14 year olds

This is certain to be a very popular event so make sure you don't miss out.

The under 11s show off their days work!

On Saturday, the under 11s made the trip to Hertfordshire for the annual Buntingford Cougars Tournament. The City girls did extremely well, confidently showing off their footballing talent. In true World Cup style, they even had to deal with a penalty shot out in the semi final........but unlike England, they came out on top. A goal within five seconds of the start of the final set the Lilywhites up for a convincing 4 - 0 win against a talented Flitwick Eagles side. Sun, smiles, silverware - perfect day!

Birmingham here we come!

And whilst the under 11s were winning their tournament, the under 12s were securing their route to the FA Youth National Futsal Finals in Birmingham next Saturday, by winning the Eastern Region qualifiers, coincidentally played here in Cambridge. Next week will be a big ask for the girls but they are so talented and committed that they go there equal to anyone and everyone. Good luck girls!
