Adam Capel has agreed terms to remain at Cambridge City for season 2018/19.

The defender broke into the first team during the most recent season and made 19 appearances in all competitions either partnering Jordan Gent at the heart of the City defence or filling in at left back.

City boss Robbie Nightingale said "Adam did really well for us last season showing great character and attitude. He is still young but I genuinely feel he has a great future ahead and I am really pleased that he will be with us for next season".

Capel joins fellow defenders Jordan Gent and Ben Robinson in agreeing terms. Also confirmed for the new season are winger Salim Relizani and new signing Jack Wilkinson who has joined from Mildenhall.
