Jordan Gent has agreed terms to remain at Cambridge City for season 2018/19.

Gent arrived with manager Robbie Nightingale in December 2016 from Soham Town Rangers. During his time with the Lilywhites he has been an instrumental member of the squad playing at the heart of the City defence.

Robbie Nightingale was delighted to have secured his services for another campaign. He said "Jordan Gent has been immense for us over the last 18 months, and I am delighted that he is one of the first players to commit for another season. What is even more pleasing is that teams from higher leagues were chasing his signature, so it's a great boost for us and I am sure he will once again be a big player of us next season".
