The Championship team retained their league title for the third season running but the Premiership team was pipped at the post once again.

Cambridge City Championship Squad

It was neck and neck between City and March Park Rangers (Facet) as both teams prepared for their final two games of this seasons tournament. City starting the day with a very slender two points lead. In two very exciting games, sandwiched between torrential rain, March were unable to get the one win they needed to take the title with both games ending in 1-1 draws.

Cambridge City Premiership Squad

With both City and C3 Church starting the day with equal points and the same goal difference it was fairly certain that the league was going to be decided on the final game of the day between these two sides. And this is exactly what happened with both City and C3 beating St Ives Rangers and the Cambridge Regional College.
In the final game both teams threw everything in to attack and in a very even thrilling end to end game it was C3 who took their chances better and ended up 2-0 winners and thus league champions once again.
