Although the weather meant that there were no matches last weekend for the Ladies or Girls teams, there is still plenty happening in the 'female camp'

City Ladies and Girls FC are delighted to announce, that in association with Cambs FA, we have been chosen to run SSEWildcats football sessions; a new initiative aimed at inspiring girls aged 5-11 to become involved in the sport.

SSEWildcats clubs provide girls with the opportunity to play football and take part in organised sessions in a fun and engaging environment, created exclusively for girls.

The sessions will take place on a weekly basis and will provide a safe environment where girls with varying football experience can have fun engaging with sport, develop fundamental skills, try a variety of sessions, learn new things and create foundations for a lifelong love of the sport.

We start our first SSEWildcats session on Friday 13th April at Trumpington 3G, led by our talented City female coaches.

To get further information and/or to register your interest, please contact us at:

Trip to watch Arsenal Women v Manchester City Women

In association with our sister club (Arsenal Women) the club has arranged a coach trip on Sunday 13th May to watch Arsenal Women play Manchester City Women in the Women's Super League at Boreham Wood. These are two exceptionally good teams, so it should be an excellent game to watch. It is a 2pm kick off, with the coach leaving Netherhall School, Cherry Hinton at 11am. We anticipate getting back at around 6 pm.

Match tickets are free. The cost for the coach travel will be 8 per person. Please let the club know at: before 14th March if you are interested.

Sporting, Fundraiser Dinner

To raise funds for City Ladies and Girls FC, the club has arranged a great evening of entertainment on Friday 18th May. We have been lucky enough to secure John Lukic as the guest speaker at our sporting dinner, together with a comedian, auction and raffle. It will be a super evening, that's for sure.
