Cambridge City can today confirm the departure of Niall Conroy and Mason Spence.

Conroy joined City as first choice goalkeeper in the summer. However, a recent injury has seen him lose his place to Charlie Bannister, who will now be with the club until the end of the season.

Defender Mason Spence joined City early in the campaign but in recent weeks has seen his appearances restricted in the first team and has been released from the squad to allow him to get regular football.

City manager Robbie Nightingale said "I would like to thank both players for their efforts at Cambridge City and wish them well in finding another club".
