Cambridge City have today completed the signing of goalkeeper Charlie Bannister.  He joins the Lilywhites after being released by Solihull Moors.

Providing the necessary paperwork is completed in time the 21 year old is likely to play at Beaconsfield tomorrow as Harry Seaden has been recalled by Southend United and Niall Conroy has still not fully recovered from the injury he sustained in the Boxing Day clash at home to Bedford.

Bannister was formerly with Aston Villa as a youngster before he joined Watford in 2016 but was released a year later.  He has also spent time with Kidderminster Harriers as well as a trial with Cambridge United.
