At the third time of asking, City finally bagged maximum return from a home league fixture, but they were made to battle hard for the points. Following an electrifying start, City took a deserved 10th minute lead through Ross Paterson. Arguably, City could have had the game wrapped up in those early minutes, such was their dominance, however, Northwood came back into the game and City had to hold them at bay with some great work from Niall Conroy in the City goal. City had the better of the second half, but failed to convert any of a number of good chances, while always having to guard against the pacy threat of the visitors... Report
