Cambridge City Ladies & Girls scooped up Cambridgeshire FA's top two awards for last season at their Annual General Meeting held last week.

The Ladies & Girls completed an incredibly successful season when they won both the Cambridgeshire FA Charter Standard Community Club of the Year 2017 and the Cambridgeshire FA Mick North Club of the Year 2016-2017 awards. These awards cover the whole of the Cambridgeshire FA and we think this is the first time an all female club has won the latter, much coveted, award. This has to be the club's most successful season ever since Kevin, Dave and Eddie started the girls teams sixteen years ago.

Chairman, Sid Cullum, who collected the awards on behalf of the Club was quick to praise all the committee, managers/coaches and their wife's or partners, players and their families, their sponsors, in fact everyone that has helped to bring about this success. He went on to say that these latest two honours confirm the clubs position as the biggest and best Ladies & Girls football club in Cambridgeshire.
