Foxley agrees for next season

Cambridge City manager Robbie Nightingale continues to build his squad for next season by agreeing terms with Darren Foxley.

Foxley, who is a wide man, joined City from Soham Town Rangers in January. He went on to become an ever present in the City side and went on to make 15 league appearances.

The City boss was pleased that Foxley had agreed terms. He said “It’s another piece of great news for us on the playing front. I consider Darren to be an excellent player and very talented. By getting a full season from him hopefully we will see this come through and I am delighted that he has decided to stay with City for another year”.

The news that Foxley has agreed terms comes a day after it was announced that Michael King was joining the club from Hitchin bringing the total to 7 players who have agreed to be part of the City squad ahead of the season which starts on Saturday 12 August.
