Discounted admission offer on Saturday

If you hold a season ticket at another Cambridgeshire club you will be welcome to attend Cambridge City’s match at home against Dorchester on Saturday (15th April) for half price!

City Chairman Kevin Satchell has invited holders of season tickets for other Cambridgeshire clubs to attend Westwood Road on Saturday to come and support The Lilywhites with the tempting offer of a 50% reduction on the adult entry price. The City Chairman said “With the local clubs either away or playing Good Friday this is an ideal opportunity for local football fans to see how City have improved recently. It has been a tough season but we are determined to give everything to ensure our survival in the Southern League Premier Division”.

The Lilywhites have recorded three straight wins in the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division without conceding as Robbie Nightingale’s men try to secure their status in the division. Their latest victory was a 1-0 win away at Cinderford, which brought City even closer to Southern League safety.

City have also been boosted with the news that the planning application for the move to Sawston will be resubmitted soon. The site to the north of the village will see a new stadium for City plus another pitch with a 4G artificial surface as well as land which will be donated back to the parish council.

Saturdays match against Dorchester kicks off at 3pm at Westwood Road in St Ives. A valid season ticket for a Cambridgeshire club must be produced to take advantage of the offer.
