Kelly shows class to tip the balance

Two moments of sublime skill from Danny Kelly tipped this rather bad tempered local derby in City's favour. Second best in the first half, City trailed to Inih Effiong's close range effort and it was hard to see the home side finding a route to goal, but that changed when Kelly found the top corner from a free-kick. He bettered that effort seventeen minutes later when he lobbed the visiting keeper from all of 40 yards. He wasn't finished there and went on to supply a delightful cross for Neil Midgley to head home and put City firmly in control. City may not have been at their best but nobody could deny that Kelly's efforts were worthy enough to win any game... Full Report
