Cambridge City manager Gary Roberts has tonight strengthened his squad by signing striker Danny Kelly.

Kelly, the former Republic of Ireland under 19 captain, joins City after spending the majority of last season on-loan with Eastbourne Borough. Kelly made 12 appearances for the Sussex club in the conference last year. Prior to that he was with Barnet where he played 4 times in League Two.

The 20 year old is based in Huntingdon, and providing paperwork is completed in time, he could potentially be available for the Lilywhites home match with Frome Town at Milton Road tomorrow.
