A goal from Matthew Barnes-Homer cancelled out a first half strike from Craig Hammond as City earned a credible draw against a strong Luton Town side at Milton Road this evening.

City started the game strongly, but faded as the game progressed with the superior fitness of the visitors coming through.

The Lilywhites finished the game with a number of trialists and will take credit from their performance against a Luton side who will be one of the favourites for the Blue Square Bet Premier title this season.

The starting line-up's:

City:
Barrett, Nightingale, Krause, Kennedy, Theobald, Chaffey, Burke, Cambridge, Hammond, Sands, Fuller.

Luton:
Tyler, Gleeson, Murray, A Murray, White, Blackett, Bailey, Craddock, Barnes-Homer, Gatlen, Dury.

Man of the Match: Zac Barrett (nominated by the match sponsor, The Young Company)

Attendance: 309.
