Cambridge City U12 Girls 7 - Huntingdon Rowdies U12 Girls 0

The City Girls played their penultimate game of the season with a repeat of the previous week’s fixture. The score was also the same as they again hit seven past Huntingdon Rowdies without reply. This sets them up for a title decider away to Bishops Stortford in a winner takes all match which gives them an opportunity to clinch the double. A tremendous run that has seen them go undefeated since an opening day defeat against Comberton Crusaders.

Lucy Holder who missed last week's match wasted no time in making her mark when she put Cambridge ahead early on. Ellie Geoghan carried on her recent excellent form in front of goal when she managed to bag a quick fire hatrick before half time supported by City's top scorer this season Carla Penny, who notched the Lilywhites third goal of the match. Two more goals followed in the second half with Holder adding to her first and then Saskia Capetti weaved some magic to twist and turn past several challenges to grab City's seventh.
