League cup final details

Dates for the two leg final of the Red Insure League Cup between Cambridge City and VT FC have been announced. The first leg will take place at VT FC on Thursday 1 April with a 7:45pm kick-off. The second leg will be at Milton Road on Monday 12 April, again with a 7:45pm kick-off.

If any City fans are wondering about VT FC, well here is some background. They are based at Sholing in Southampton, and in 2003 changed their name from Vosper Thornycroft to their current title, which is named after their parent company. In their first season as VT FC, they were Hampshire League Champions, and won promotion to the Wessex League and have since progressed to their current status as a team in the Zamaretto League Division One South and West.
