Cambridge City Girls Under 10 8 - Cottenham Girls Under 10 2

Despite wet weather the game went ahead on a fairly heavy pitch. City kept up their winning ways with a comprehensive 8-2 win at Cottenham.

City started strongly and were soon ahead through Hannah Lagnado, they went on to score six before Cottenham replied with a goal just before half time.

In the second half City fielded a number of their younger players who battled well, the highlight being a solo run from Sophia Castiglione from the half way line and a powerful shot past the keeper.

Two girls completed hat-tricks, Amy Ozakpinar and Hannah Lagnado, with the other goal coming from Holly Northfield.

A good win for City to keep pressure on the League leaders.
