City Girls faced another difficult game against a strong Histon side. The first half was very even with few shots on goal, both defences were strong with Tia Bennett-Johnson and Lauren Verhayden making good tackles and clearing the ball.

In the second half City were stronger and made some good chances with good passing and movement from the midfield and forward players. It was Holly Northfield who settled the game with about 10 minutes to go, she slotted the ball past the Histon keeper after being put through on goal. The two sides will face each other again on Histon Recreation Ground next week, City will expect another tough game.
