City Girl’s U10s – Monopolise Victoria Trophy

Cambridge City Girls U10s travelled to Nottingham last weekend to take part in the UK's biggest Women’s & Girl’s football festival when they entered two teams in the Victoria Trophy. Both City teams won their respective leagues without losing a game, although they encountered some tough opposition throughout. In the semi-finals Cambridge City A defeated Posh Girls two nil while Cambridge City B won a tight encounter with Sherwood A one nil to set up an all Cambridge final.
In an evenly contested final City B took their chances and came through two nil winners to lift the trophy with goals from Bronte Rapley and Lucy Parker.
