Ladies Teams
The City Girls having lost narrowly twice to the Diamonds in the league were determined to avenge these defeats in the S-Tech Cup final. The City Girls produced one of their best all round displays of the season and won comfortably by four goals to nil in a game they dominated from start to finish.
The City defence was again rock solid keeping a clean sheet whilst the mid field worked hard to close the Diamond girls down and stop them playing their usual passing game. Up front the pace of Captain Jennifer Turner and Hannah Lock was always going to cause the Diamonds problems. City’s goals came from Chanice Stokes (2), Leigh-Anne Robe and super-sub Melissa Wilson.
